Synopsis for "The 13th Floor"
Adventures into Terror #12
A building manager is approached by a ghoul who wants to rent the 13th floor. He says there is no 13th floor but the ghoul threatens to kill him if he refuses the month rental and so he draws up a lease. Whenever one of the ghoul's associates enters the elevator and asks the bellman to stop at 13, a floor appears, but when only humans are on the elevator there is no such floor. This maddens the manager and so at the end of the month he demands the ghoul show him the space so that he can ascertain he and his associates have vacated the premises. The ghoul agrees but when they exit the elevator the manager is delighted to discover the space is actually there and wants to measure it so that he can rent it out. The ghoul warns him to return to the elevator as the floor does not exist for humans, but the manager refuses to pay heed. Once the elevator door shuts, the manager's body becomes suspended in-between the 12th and 14th floors.

Synopsis for "One Must Die!"
Adventures into Terror #16
A scientist theorizes that if one animal can save its life by killing its mate, it will do so. He tests this theory on gorillas by suspending bananas out of their reach and the male does in fact strangle his mate in order to use her body as a ladder to reach the fruit. When he discovers his wife is cheating on him, he stitches the two lover's shoulders together and dumps them in a cave filled with hungry hyenas and an exit wide enough for only one to fit through and leaves them ...an ax.
