Synopsis for "Alone in the Dark!"
Ten-year-old Donald Dugan is scared to death of his creepy Uncle Claude. One night, his parents go out for the evening, leaving Uncle Claude to watch over Donald. Claude reveals that he hates the Dugans because they are always threatening to kill him. He will avenge himself upon them by killing their son at the stroke of midnight. As the clock chimes midnight, Claude goes to attack, but Donald transforms into a werewolf and kills Claude instead. His parents return home. They lament the fact that their son was born a werewolf instead of a vampire like they are.

Synopsis for "The Eavesdropper!"
Tony Neely is in a bar and overhears a couple planning a murder. The woman, Rose, intends on killing her husband for the insurance money. Her lover conspires with her and they leave the bar to seek out her husband. Tony decides that he can use what he knows to blackmail them. He tries following them through the shadowy streets as they search for Rose's husband. As Tony creeps closer, he accidentally kicks a discarded can alerting them to his presence. Rose turns around and Tony stares in horror as he realizes that the would-be murderess is his own wife. He is her intended victim.

Synopsis for "The Old Witch"
Helen Bennet brings an old woman named Mathilda home and gives her a place to stay. Her husband George is irritated that Helen is always bringing home stray kids or homeless people. He discovers that Mathilda is actually a witch who is attempting an elaborate spell that will enable her to switch bodies with the younger, healthier Helen Bennet. George carves a stake from an ash tree and drives it into Mathilda's heart. He then buries the body in the yard and tells his wife what he has done. Helen is furious at him and calls the police. The police arrive and question him at length. George shows them where he buried the body and tries to explain why it was necessary for him to kill the old woman. When the police disinter the remains, they find that it is actually Helen Bennet's body in the shallow grave and not Mathilda.

Synopsis for "The Slave!"
Sailor Joe Garcy travels to South America to seek his fortune. Discovering that Inca natives traditionally bury their dead with their belongings, he begins robbing crypts in search of riches. During a funeral procession, he disguises himself as an Inca slave to gain access to the burial vault. Once inside however, all of the slaves, including Joe Garcy, are sealed up behind the walls to die.
