Synopsis for 1st story
Deadpool wakes up naked in the secret base of Gorgon, the rival organization to the USDA's Risk Management Agency (RMA) whom Deadpool had been working for. Deadpool puts on clothes provided for him and walks out into a large theatre room with chimichangas and watches a video introducing Gorgon's origins as a hidden organization who seek to take power from the unjust. After the recruitment video plays, Deadpool walks out of a doorway that opens, only to be immediately grabbed by Gorgon's leader, Medusa X, who uses their powers to completely petrify Deadpool.
Medusa X and her two companions, a rival agent to Deadpool named Aria and another agent named Vladica Polyak, begin walking away, mildly disappointed to find Deadpool is not immune to being turned to stone. Deadpool's body heals itself, however, and he attacks the group while they are walking away. Medusa X stops the fighting and convinces Deadpool to come speak with them about being employed by Gorgon instead of the RMA.
Deadpool and the three Gorgon members walk to a lunchroom where they sit and discuss Gorgon's goals. Medusa X explains that they are trying to retrieve the artifcat called the Protolith from the doctor Chip Dipson because it is crucial to unlocking access to a universe known as the "Paradox Dimension', which causes any who view it to go insane. Medusa X further elaborates that RMA's Arch Director Reginald Blank (who Deadpool had been working for) had been trying to recover the Protolith for himself in order to use to gain more power and bring the RMA out of the shadow of being subordinated to the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Deadpool acts as if he is interested in joining Gorgon, but then tricks agent Polyak into causing the RMA super-spy watch she stole from Deadpool to cut off her own hand, and Deadpool grabs the watch and jettisons out of the room's skylight, telling the three Gorgon members that he still considers them "the bad guys".
Deadpool rockets out of the Gorgon secret base skylight, only to find that it is suspended high up in the air in the middle of Antarctica, and he is plummeting to his doom.
