Synopsis for 1st story
In a flashback, it is revealed how six months prior the leader of the Risk Management Agency (RMA), Arch Director Reginald Blank, was killed by rival agents due to the carelessness of secret agent Jace Burns. Jace decided to cover up the Arch Director's death by impersonating him for the next few months.
In the present day, Jace is explaining to Deadpool how he came to impersonate Reginald Blank. Jace also reveals how he ordered the assasination of himself so that he could bring in Deadpool as "Jace Burns". At that moment, Jace's RMA ally Ms. Shortbread appears and double-crosses both Jace and Deadpool, informing them that she now works for their rival organization Gorgon and shooting Deadpool and Jace with tranquilizer darts.
Deadpool and Jace wake up on an island called Death's Gate Island where they have been handcuffed to metal railing by Gorgon agents. The two agents watch as Gorgon's leader, Medusa X, explains how the Protolith rock that they confiscated from Dr. Chip Dipson was actually the tip of "God's pencil", the pencil used by the One-Above-All to write the universe. Gorgon hoped to rewrite reality in a more just manner, but before they can, Deadpool frees himself and causes the giant pencil to descend even faster into reality, at a dangerous rate. Deadpool jumps onto the pencil and yells to the One-Above-All, informing them that their pencil is being taken by Gorgon. The One-Above-All thanks Deadpool and takes their pencil back. Deadpool then grabs a gun and shoots all of the Gorgon members and apprehends all of the double-crossing HMA members. The only two people he is unable to stop are Ms. Shortbread and Medusa X, who escape on a helicopter, but not before Deadpool shoots off Medusa X's mask and reveals them to actually be the Grey Gargoyle.
The adventure ends with Deadpool returning the miniature horse, Cobbles, to its original owners, and then driving away with his new friend from the HMA, Imp.
