Loki tasks his 'son' Deadpool to steal and take up Mjolnir in return for releasing Mistress Death from her stasis. After abusing the powers of the mystical hammer, Deadpool realizes that he has been manipulated and turns on Loki, only to be cursed. Thor retrieves the REAL Mjolnir (Deadpool's being a powerful fake) and takes away the replica as well, leaving Wade to deal with his curse alone.
