History

Deathcharge was a criminal forced to do manual labor. After coming across a dumping ground for military weaponry, there was an explosion that Deathcharge was caught in. He survived and discovered that he could now project energy, could survive on land, and had toughened skin. He then became a mercenary for hire. One day, he was hired by by Senator Tacwood to help guard Transcor as it illegally dumped toxic waste in the ocean. The dumping caught the attention of the Sub-Mariner. When he went to investigate, he was attacked by Deathcharge. Namor, weakened by the toxic waste, was subdued by Deathcharge. Namor was tied to the ship's anchor but regained his strength after getting splashed by water. Namor confronted Deathcharge and defeated him by turning his energy blasts back on him. After learning that Senator Tacwood was responsible for the illegal dumping, Namor left the toxic waste and an unconscious Deathcharge on Tacwood's property.[1] Deathcharge's current whereabouts are unknown.
