History
Deichtine was the daughter of Cathbad and the sister of Conchobar mac Nessa, King of Ulster. She was a mortal druidess.
With the sun god Lugh, she birthed Sétanta.
At some point, she married Súaltam, who became Sétanta's step-father.
Sétanta grew in Emain Macha (modern-day Armagh, Northern Ireland), where Concobar mac Nessa reigned, and where Sétanta gained the name "Cúchulain".[1]See Also
