Overview

Denmark, officially Kingdom of Denmark is a Scandinavian country in Northern Europe. Its capital and largest city is Copenhagen.

6th Century

In the sixth century, a pair of symbiote dragons arrived on Earth and attacked Denmark, coming to be known as Grendel and Grendel's Mother.[1] When the Grendel attacked Heorot Hall, Thor Odinson - the Norse god of thunder - arrived to save his people from the Grendel,[2] and later vanquished Grendel's Mother as well.[3]

These events were later misattributed to the Geatish prince Beowulf, and numerous details were falsified - claiming that Grendel's Mother had been a member of Cain's Clan and that her son had been the half-dark elf Grendell.[4]

8th century

In 710 A.D., in the Town of Ribe in Jutland, helped by Strybiorn and his men, Hydra sorcerer Draugr buried the bones of Eggther (a giant who had stolen the arrow of Hoder), in order to retrieve the arrow, a weapon capable of killing a god.[5]
