Derek Bishop shared a similar history to his Earth-616 counterpart until after Project Communion were kidnapped. Kate Bishop and Clint split as partners over a disagreement on rescuing them. Sometime after this Derek went down (presumably for his criminal activities) Kate inherited his money and used it to start The Hawkeyes.[1]
