The Desmond Boys, also called the Desmond Gang, was a criminal gang consisting of Clarance, Norman, and two others, operating in Los Angeles. They were meticulous in their hits, taking security details into account, and were not too greedy to avoid attracting attention, but there was a $12,500 bounty on their head. When they were operating in the Port of the Greater Metropolitan Los Angeles, criminologist Scotty McDowell deduced where they were, and his ally Spider-Woman went to arrest them; by then Spider-Woman was operating quietly and the Desmond Boys did not recognize her or were prepared for her, so they were easily defeated. Spider-Woman collected the reward, which was spent entirely on new office furniture that McDowell needed.[1]
