History
The Devil's Den was a casino Blackheart and Gari Oyle opened in Las Vegas after being cast out of Hell and left powerless on Earth by Mephisto. They used it to acquire one hundred human souls, needed for a ritual to bring Hell to Earth.[3]
Tower Blackheart
Venom was blackmailed by the Crime-Master into helping Jack O'Lantern steal the Toxin symbiote from the casino,[1] but Blackheart had already secured a piece of the alien's flesh to use in the ritual by then. After Blackheart (under the human guise of Mr. Degli) purchased a vial of her blood, X-23 infiltrated the casino and discovered it was used to create a set of symbiote-clad clones of her: the Symbiote Warriors.[3]
When Blackheart and Gari Oyle performed the ritual, Las Vegas became a hellish landscape and the Devil's Den transformed into a colossal tower. Four heroes (Venom, Red Hulk, X-23, and Ghost Rider) invaded the tower and tried to stop Blackheart,[3] but all of them ended up dead.[4] Mephisto gave them another chance to defeat his son[5] and they succeeded, returning the city to normalcy.[2] What became of the Devil's Den after that is unknown.

X-23 saved by Wolverine (Earth-43312)[]
X-23 was saved at the last minute by Wolverine and killed Blackheart. Soon afterwards, Wolverine showed her a Weapon X laboratory in the tower and revealed Blackheart was behind the program all along. While they were destroying the lab, Wolverine ended up soaked with Trigger 42, causing X-23 to lose control and stab him to death.[6]See Also
