The Dimension of Manifestations is home to the Manifestations where they create Manifestation-Bodies (M-Bodies) for abstract beings and also extremely powerful non-abstract beings like Galactus, Celestials, Watchers, the Stranger, etc.[2]

History

Cosmic Beings and Manifestations from Quasar Vol 1 37 001

M-Bodies of abstracts, Galactus, the Stranger, Kronos, two Celestials, etc.

For eons, the Manifestations, with Anthropomorpho as the Prime Manifester, gave cosmic beings M-Bodies so they could manifest, especially abstracts without bodies of their own. Reflections of M-Bodies were archived within the dimension.[2] The dimension was also sometimes used by abstracts as a meeting place and for trials overseen by the Living Tribunal. The abstracts Oblivion and Eternity held over a dozen trials here. In their 13th trial by combat to determine if Eternity should house Death, Oblivion slew Eternity's champion Eternal Maddniss.[3]

A billion of years ago, the dimension was invaded by the first Storm god, Hadad, who bested the abstract entities. Furious over His children being mistreated, the One Above All confronted Hadad in the dimension, and swiftly took the evil storm god down.[4]

Quasar meeting Oblivion in the Dimension of Manifestations

When the Magus compromised Eternity, Quasar and the Contemplator visited the Dimension of Manifestations to find Eternity.[2] Meanwhile, the Magus contacted Anthropomorpho and requested for the creation of many doppelgangers for his nefarious scheme.[5] Later, after Quasar had been nullified, he was sent to Oblivion in the Dimension of Manifestations, but he managed to escape Oblivion with the help of Kid Reaper, his personal Death avatar.[6]

When Quasar's mother was dying from cancer, Quasar entered the Dimension of Manifestations to threaten Death herself but backed out.[1] In another instance, Quasar entered the Dimension of Manifestations to speak to the Living Tribunal.[7]

When Oblivion sought Death to return to him after three billion years, he once again requested a trial with Eternity, overseen by the Living Tribunal. However, when he demanded Eternity's end, the Tribunal punished him, initially preventing Oblivion from ever reuniting with Death, but the Tribunal soon decided to host another trial by combat when Oblivion shed a tear.[3]

Notes

  • Despite the Contemplator's claim that abstract beings "go" to this dimension to get M-Bodies, it is immediately refuted by Epoch, a newborn abstract who uses M-Bodies but was not aware of the dimension. This implies that the process is automatic and visiting the dimension is not necessary for abstracts.[2]
  • In Quasar #3738, #40, #49, and #58, the Dimension of Manifestations is depicted as a blank white space, but in Storm (Vol. 5) #5, it is drawn like normal space.
