History
The Dire Wraith Salmon Monsters were spawned from salmon eggs in the polluted waters of Beaver Lake through the powers of Dire Wraith magic. The monsters were mostly mindless and savagely attacked the townspeople of Beaver Falls. Members of Alpha Flight in conjunction with Rom and Starshine defended the people of the town from the creatures. Rom pleaded for them to not destroy them arbitrarily showing them to be unsuspecting salmon with his Energy Analyzer and eventually Shaman was able to revert them back to salmon using his mystic medicine powers. However, they succumbed to the toxic waters of the lake after their reversion.
The Dire Wraith sorcerers were able to spawn a new batch of the monsters by sorcerously modifying the water of the polluted lake.Powers and Abilities
