History

Division 3 was one of the three Divisions created by the U.S. Government to combat the Mutant threat. While Division 1 dealt with global command and communications and Division 2 focused on science, genetics, and technology, the primary purpose of Division 3 was investigations, research, strategy, and tactical response, which formed the four main branches of the Division. Led by Admiral Fukyama and his Vermillions, for years Division 3 considered their main enemy to be Summerland led by Melanie Bird, until the former rivals were eventually forced to band together to combat the threat of Amahl Farouk, the Shadow King.
