History
The Dock was a former S.H.I.E.L.D. shipyard base housing the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarriers.
After S.H.I.E.L.D.'s dissolution, Nick Fury ordered his agents to evacuate it. Later, it was decommissioned by H.A.M.M.E.R., housing three Helicarriers: the Iliad, the Argonaut, and an unnamed Third. To recover them, it was attacked by the Howling Commandos Private Military Company contracted by Fury, succeeding despite being attacked also by Hydra. Fury convinced about 3,000 HAMMER agents to defect to his side.[1]Notes
- Under SHIELD, the Dock had a crew of about 5,000 agents. Under HAMMER, it was defended by at least 11,000.
- It is unknown if the Dock was where Helicarriers were built, but its name suggests it.
