History

Dredd was a Dire Wraith warlock who merged Brandy Clark with the Starshine Armor, causing a clone of Rom to viciously murder Doctor Dredd with his bare hands.

Later, the Skrull scientist Klobok conjured up Dredd's spirit and gained from it the information he needed to assume Dredd's identity.

The female Wraiths usually preferred sorcery and the male Wraiths usually preferred technology. Dredd would be a rare exception to this paradigm. Volx, the Dire Wraith queen who frequently used technology to further her goals, would be another.
