History
Doctor Hatros was the founder of the Hatros Institute for Emotional Research, dedicated to understanding own emotions and those of people in the environment. Hatros founded the first clinic in Los Angeles in 1974.[2] [note 1] The Institute helped people through therapeutic programs, and became the largest research center into human emotion in the United States.[3]
Following the death of Dr. Hatros less than five years after founding the Hatros Institute, Adrienne became the owner of the Institute, but she became reclusive and was shortly afterwards murdered by agents of villainess Nekra, who then impersonated Adrienne and used the Institute for her own evil purposes.[1][4][5]Notes
