Freeing himself from his mystical confinement, Doctor Strange battles the guardian, killing it with the Eye of Agamotto. Freeing Clea and Victoria, and after a brief reunion with Clea, Doctor Strange sends both women back to Earth while he goes to deal with Dormammu.

Synopsis for "... While a World Awaits!"
As Doctor Strange defends the Doorway of Dimensions from Dormammu, Umar and their army seeking to gain access to Earth's dimension, Clea and Victoria Bentley safely arrive in Doctor Strange's Sanctum. There Wong answers the door to an old colleague of Doctor Strange, Doctor Charles Benton, who has come to talk Doctor Strange out of a life of a mystic (which Benton believes is nothing more than chicanery) and work for him as a medical consultant. While this is happening, at the Doorway of Dimensions, Strange is bound in mystical chains while Dormammu seeks to break a portal to Earth.
Clea and Victoria use the Orb of Agamotto to reverse a spell cast upon Umar that limits her powers. Umar, wanting revenge against her brother allows Doctor Strange to become free and go after Dormammu through the portal. There the two fight and ultimatly Dormammu is drawn back from whence he came. Arriving home Benton asks Strange to come back to work for the hospital as a consultant. Strange asks to be left alone as he is really tired, causing Benton to lose his temper and storm out, ironically admonishing Strange that he will "never be of use to anyone!"Appearing in "The Power and the Pendulum!"

Synopsis for "The Power and the Pendulum!"
Deciding that Clea needs a place of her own while living on Earth, Doctor Strange takes her out to show her the outside world, however after she uses her powers to banish a gawker, Strange has to quickly usher them to saftey from a mob and use his mystical powers to erase their memories. Back at his Sanctum, Strange finds a telegram asking that he is to go out and visit a Lord Nekron in England.
Traveling there with Victoria Bentley, Strange meets with Nekron along with Victoria. However, during dinner Victoria's drink is drugged and it's revealed that Nekkron is a follower of Satannish. One night while summoning Satannish he was granted more and more occult power each day for a whole year, where he would find an equally adept mystic to become Satannish's slave or put his soul in forfeit. Having chosen Doctor Strange, the two battle, however Doctor Strange proves too skilled for Nekron, and when his time is up, Satannish claims his soul instead of Strange's. After the battle, Victoria revives, and she and Doctor Strange part company.
