He repylies he can't recall anything and that his memory loss may have been a tradeoff for something he did at that time.

Back at the chase, Roxnor the Purifier the self identified leader calls to Dr. Strange to release the dwarf Eoffren in their company. Eoffren apologizes for their current situation but Dr. Strange admits it is his fault.

Another flashback shows Dr. Strange remastering his magic skills. But he admits to Kanna that he still lacks the skills to contact one old friend. To which Kanna asks him if he knows anthing about the Nidavellir dwarves. Kanna explains that Eoffren could make him a physical manifestation of magic but she explains that he has been kidnapped by Roxnor and his Majesdane empire to build them magic weapons. Dr. Strange and Kanna agree to seek and rescue Eoffren.

Queue back to the current predicament for Dr. Strange, Kanna and Eoffren, they are cornered against the cliffs edge and Dr. Strange abruptly pulls them all of the edge.

Dr. Strange uses it to pull Kanna and Eoffren back up to the cliff and reengages the Majesdane, using his wrath and anger to attack them aggresively, which Kanna acknowledges was unnecessary and put them in danger when they could have escaped.

The Majesdane gain the upper hand in the fight though and recongizing this Kanna steals an item of theirs and quickly teleports Dr. Strange and Eoffren sacrificing herself to be their prisoner.

Roxnor recongizes Kanna has skills in magic arts and item crafting and takes her prisoner as to replace Eoffren.

He calls out Dr. Strange's selfish mindset in using his magic for personal gain. Eoffren humbles him appropriately and Dr. Strange recognizes his mistake but still notes he lacks the tools to find Kanna only acknowledging his historic artificats he has. Eoffren notes he will actually need to create Dr. Strange a new and personalized artificat NOT named after someone if he is to actually rescue Kanna and he transports him to a new workshop and forge.
