History

Defender shared a similar history to his Prime Universe counterpart until 1943 when Red Skull gained the Cosmic Cube. Defender was one of the many WWII heroes killed by the Skull. Later, during a battle between the Skull and the time-displaced Avengers and Invaders, Defender was resurrected by Paul Anselm.
