History
After the Quiet Council of Krakoa was compromised by Mr. Sinister, they gradually began spreading their corruption to the rest of Krakoa and the world at large, slowly taking over the planet from the shadows.
Victor von Doom eventually grew suspicious of the Krakoans, and sought out his old ally Namor to form a united front against Krakoa. Unbeknownst to Doom, Namor had already been compromised, and murdered him. Doom was replaced with a clone under Krakoan control, while one of his Doombots claimed his mantle and joined the Orchis resistance.[1]
Despite their efforts, the Sinisters succeeded in not only conquering the planet but also destroying all interstellar empires that opposed them, becoming the dominant life forms in the galaxy within a millennium, before splintering into various warring factions. Now barely functioning, the Doombot and Moira MacTaggert were the last survivors of Orchis, hiding themselves on the desolate, abandoned remains of Earth.
Long since exiled from the council and seeking to reclaim his Moira Engine, Sinister tracked Moira down and allied with her and the Doombot. Using her psychic imprint, he managed to track down the location of the Moira Engine, planning to kill the clone of Moira bound to the current timeline, which would allow him to reset the timeline and erase the hellish millennium that had passed.
When the World Farm, where the engine was housed, came under attack by the Empire of the Red Diamond, Doombot was trapped under debris. Sinister tore off his hand, and used the inbuilt gun as a weapon.[2]See Also
