History

Overview[]

Dorian Gray is a man who became immortal via an enchanted portrait of himself by Basil Hallward. His image in the portrait ages while Dorian himself remains young, and whenever he is injured the painting takes the damage while Dorian instantly regenerates. However, if his portrait is ever destroyed, all of the wounds the image displays will be visited upon Gray in full, effectively killing him in a very gruesome manner.[1]

Dreadpool[]

Dorian Gray (Ideaverse) from Deadpool Killustrated Vol 1 4 001

Little is detailed about the life of the Dorian Gray before Dreadpool began murdering the inhabitants of the Ideaverse, however it can be presumed that it followed much the same path as the Dorian Gray from the novel The Picture of Dorian Gray.

Dreadpool fired at the painting of Dorian Gray, destroying it and by extension Dorian himself. His body was discovered by Sherlock Holmes and John Watson.[2]
