History
Dormammu was the ruler of the Dark Dimension.
Seeking more power, a mystic named Kaecilius betrayed his friends of the Masters of the Mystic Arts and used a dimensional rift to summon Dormammu to their dimension.
Dormammu wanted to conquer the dimension, but ended up defeated by the Masters of the Mystic Arts and by the members of the Avengers Academy. He was incarcerated in a special cell enchanted with various binding spells from the sorcerers at the Avengers Academy.[1]Notes
- Like the other main antagonist of the limited time events, Dormammu is locked in a cage once defeated 7 times in streaks.
Trivia
- Despise the characters in the Doctor Strange Event being physically similar to their Earth-199999 counterparts (if they exist in that universe), Dormammu is physically similar to his Earth-616 counterpart, who is a tall figure with a flaming head instead of the shadows face seen in Doctor Strange (2016).
