Dormammu managed to achieve a victory in his reality, defeating heroes such as Storm, Captain America and Captain Marvel. He then corrupted them and placed them under his control, using them as powerful lieutenants to lead his army of the Mindless Ones.

During the Convergence Hela's Hel, Mephisto's Realm and Dormammu's Dark Dimension were all merged together into a single Dark Domain located on the Primary Earth. The three Hell Lords all fought each for the total dominion over it, with Dormammu's forces being greater in numbers. The Mindless Ones were opposed by both Mephisto's demons and sorcerers from various realities who used spells to prevent the spread of the Dark Domain across all of Primary Earth. Hela's plans for victory were more cunning, as she assumed the guise of Scarlet Witch and set out to gain the trust of heroes from Omega Flight who dared ventured into the Dark Domain.
"Wanda" helped Valkyrie and her friend defeat the corrupted heroes and promised to break Dormammu's spell over them. Joined by that world's Black Widow, whose Red Room mind control resistance training blocked Dormammu's influence, they managed to destroy the Convergium crystals Dormammu had needed for his plans. The Dread One himself then appeared and attacked them, but Black Widow, Valkyrie and the other managed to defeat him. "Scarlet Witch" then trapped Dormammu inside a pocket dimension of her own creation, right before Valkyrie noticed her deception and revealed Hela's true form.[1]
