Double-Header had a phystical mutation that caused him to grow a second head, presumably this was due to exposure to the Terrigen Mist which mutated all of humanity. Double-Header was part of Daredevil's circus before it was broken up by the Skull's army.
When Daredevil would join up with Captain America, Cap would send Double-Header and the other members of Daredevil's circus to New York to seek out Scott Summers and train them to be X-Men. As a member of the X-Men, Double-Header would be one of the many heroes banded together to stop the Skull's invading army from taking over New York.
Some three years after this, Double Header would be among the X-Men when they attended Captain America's funeral, and joined Captain Marvel's quest to collect items of power. He would travel to the HEL Laboratories, the Watcher's Citadel on the Moon, and finally Wakanda. There Double-Header would aid in moving the nation of Wakanda to the Savage Land in order to escape the constant attack by an army of Windegos. When the Windego army was finally defeated, Double-Header and his fellow X-Men helped reconstruct Wakanda in the Savage Land. Their effort was briefly interupted by Belasco and an army of Dire Wraiths, but they were rescued by Captain Marvel and his followers.[citation needed]
Double-Header would later relocate to one of Earth's many hospitals for the undying dead following the death of Death. He would also attend the wedding of Medusa and King Britain. Double-Header's current whereabouts are presently unknown.[citation needed]
