Doug Moench was an investigative reporter for the Daily Bugle. He wrote a series on articles on organized crime and other illegal activities in New York City, with his texts reaching the main cover at least once. Soon after this, a sniper targeted Moench when he was leaving the office, but Moon Knight stopped the shooter before he could shoot. Moench didn't even notice his life had been in danger.
