The Outlaw Kid was called on by Miss Webster to help out her younger brother Doug. He arrived just as Doug was about to ride off. When he tried to stop the young man, Doug told the Kid to mind his own business and departed. However the Kid refused to give up and told Miss Webster he would ensure that Doug stayed out of trouble.
The Kid began tracking Doug and lost his trail. As he tried to find it again, Doug snuck up on him and knocked the Kid out, hoping this would keep him from getting in the way again. However the Kid came to and decided not to give up. Meanwhile, Doug met up with a gang of outlaws. They told him that they have changed their plans; instead of rustling cattle they were going to catch a stagecoach. Doug didn't like it but the gang insisted that he was in on it until the end.
However, as they raced toward the coach to rob it, the Outlaw Kid roped Doug up and disarmed him. When Doug balked at the Kid's involvement, he showed Doug the danger of being an outlaw: as the coach's armed guards shot down the rest of the gang. Realizing the errors of his ways, and was returned to his home where he told his sister that he was going to follow the Outlaw Kid's example.[1]
