With no other choice, but to resurrect Dracula so that he can defeat the greater threat of Doctor Sun, the vampire hunters go through Harold H. Harold's extensive collection of vampire literature to try and find a way to resurrect Dracula. Their search is fruitless however, but Dracula is ultimately resurrected when the legitimate tears of Aurora Rabinowitz drop into the dead vampires ashes causing him to be instantly reborn.

With the vampire king back to life and at his full strength, Dracula is told by his mortal enemies that they resurrected him in the hopes that he will destroy Doctor Sun. Dracula agrees, however he needs to feed once more. Refusing Harold's offer of the stolen blood in his fridge, Dracula flies off in bat form to seek out a fresh victim, mocking his foes that the cost of destroying Dr. Sun would come at the price of an innocent girl who would be Dracula's next victim.

When Dracula finds a suitable young woman he feeds upon her, he is attacked by Blade who has also come to Boston tracking down the vampire who killed his mother. Blade is easily stopped in his tracks by Dracula who demands that Blade accompany him back to Harold's home to meet with Quincy Harker.

There, Blade is brought up to speed on the situation, and Blade explains to the others that the murder crimes he's wanted for was a frame up by a coven of vampires. Dracula insists that he had nothing to do with it, and that the coven is acting on their own. The discussion becomes heated when Blade cannot believe that Harker and his bunch would revive Dracula, and tells Aurora that Dracula would kill her in a moment and cares nothing about her love. Blade finishes by telling them he has no interest in getting involved with their battle with Dr. Sun as he came to destroy the vampire who killed his mother and departs on bad terms. When Aurora asks Dracula if he would ever kill her, he assures her that he will not so long as she continues to amuse him.

With Blade gone, Dracula learns that Rachel and the others had succeeded in killing Juno and then departs to face off against Dr. Sun. Unknown to Dracula, Blade has decided to follow and watch Dracula in action to make sure that the vampire lord doesn't cause Harker and the others trouble.

Detecting Dracula's presence on his property, Dr. Sun sends up the military soldiers under his control to stop him. As expected, Dracula proves to be too powerful for the soldiers to handle and many of them die at his hands, including one soldier he uses his hypnotic will power to force to commit suicide. As Dracula fights his way down to Dr. Sun's control room, Blade heads down himself, all be it much more covertly than Dracula.

When Dracula arrives in Dr. Sun's lab, the Doctor attempts to blast him with his powerful mental bolts but misses. Just before the final battle can begin, Blade reveals himself and tells Dracula that he's here to help him destroy Dr. Sun.

Returning home after aiding the Ghost Rider in opposing his father, Daimon arrives at his home at Fire Lake. Entering his home he finds that demons have crossed the portal to Hell that is in the home's basement. Fighting off the demons, Hellstrom decides that he must reflect on his origins in order come up with a way of defeating his evil father once and for all.

Pulling up his mothers old diary, reads over the events the led him to be a master of the occult:
His mother, Victoria Wingate was met by a man who turn out to be Satan, he would seduce her and they would marry and she would birth him two children: Daimon and Satana. However, when Victoria walked in on her husband teaching Satana how to conduct a Satanic sacrifice, she would be driven insane and her children split up and put in separate homes. Victoria would protect herself with a mystical ankh bracelet.

On Daimon's 21st birthday he would inherit his parents home on Fire Lake, and would discover his mother's diary and learn the truth about his origins. Daimon would travel to Hell through the doorway, and after briefly exploring Hell, would confront his father and battle him -- rejecting his destiny to be the Anti-Christ. During the battle, Daimon would seize control of his father's Netheranium trident, and use it to summon a hellish chariot to escape Hell, vowing to stop his father one day.

Synopsis for "The Making of a Madman!"

Continued from Man-Thing #3.... With the Man-Thing seemingly killed by the Foolkiller, the father of the family the Man-Thing saved from alligators (Who's helicopter was shot down by the Foolkiller), tries to attack the Foolkiller. The Foolkiller then eliminates him with his laser-pistol, before fleeing the scene. However, the Man-Thing rises out of the swamp, fully healed from the Foolkiller's previous attack.

As the FoolKiller rushes to his truck which operates as his mobile based of operations, he almost drives Richard Rory and Ruth Hart off the road. Rory, one of the FoolKiller's targets gets by unnoticed by the FoolKiller, but Richard recognizes him and speeds away. Inside his truck, the Foolkiller confronts the preserved corpse of Reverend Mike, his inspiration to become the Foolkiller, this causes the Foolkiller to recount back to the events which led him to his destined mission:
As a young boy, the Foolkiller was born father-less, when his father dies in combat overseas. Born crippled, he was taken to Reverend Mike's tent revival, where he was healed of his disability by Mike, and became an iconic figure of the revivals. After witnessing countless acts of what he deemed to be sinful behavior, the young man decided to become the Foolkiller to eliminate those he saw as "foolish", the first of his victims would be Reverend Mike, the day he planned on showing Mike his plan. He would walk in on Mike, see him drunk and with a woman, and beat him to death. Finishing his tale, he used the money from the revival to buy all his equipment and has been traveling the country eliminating fools.

Elsewhere in the swamps, the Man-Thing has led the family to the edge of the swamp where they are spotted by Schist and his men. Schist orders the Man-Thing run down, however when this doesn't work, Schist agrees to drive the family into town for help so that they can get away from the Man-Thing before he can harm them. However on the road, they are struck by the FoolKiller, who rams into the jeep with his truck.

While at a diner, Richard tells Ruth how he incurred the wrath of the Foolkiller, explaining that while he was a DJ at a radio station in Ohio, he received a threatening letter from the Foolkiller demanding him to stop playing "blasphemous" music. Rory became a target of the Foolkiller ever since, after he openly mocked the Foolkiller on the air. When the man who gave them gas enters the diner, Richard mistakes him for the Foolkiller because they have similar cars. However the real Foolkiller rams into the diner in his truck and takes Richard prisoner. The Foolkiller than drives back to the crashed jeep and takes Schist as his hostage as well, deciding to execute them together. Taking them back to the swamp, the Foolkiller is about to eliminate them when the Man-Thing appears on the scene. Feeling fear, the Foolkiller is burned by the Man-Thing. However, when he tries to blast them with his laser, Richard jumps him, causing the ray to blast the preservation tank the body of Mike has been suspended in, a shard of broken glass from this tank piercing his heart and killing him instantly. With the threat over, the Man-Thing simply shambles off into the swamp once more.
