The Dreamlands were seemingly mystical realms of dream.[1]
The people of Xuthal, in the Hyborian Age, knew of the dreamlands of Andarra, Tothra, and Kuth of the Star-Girdle,[2] all three speculated to be mythical.[3]
History
In the Dreamlands, Shaman (Michael Twoyoungmen) battled the demon horde of Ranaq, hiding from an argument with his daughter Talisman (Elizabeth Twoyoungmen), who pulled him out of the Dreamlands to confront him.[1]

Notes
- The Dreamlands (or Dream Cycle) are a setting of stories by H.P. Lovecraft (seemingly inspired by Lord Dunsany's stories), and were introduced in "Polaris" (written in 1918; published in The Philosopher; December, 1920), and expensively developed in "The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath" (presumably written in 1926-27, published posthumously in 1943).
- In "The Slithering Shadow" (Weird Tales; September, 1933), adapted in Savage Sword of Conan #20 (July, 1977) by Roy Thomas and John Buscema, Robert E. Howard mentioned various dreamlands.
- In Marvel Comics, the Dreamlands haven't been explored in the context of Lovecraft's works, but some elements from them were adapted in other contexts, such as Kadath or the Nightgaunts (introduced in the adventures of Conan the Barbarian in Hyboria), Nyarlathotep (restricted to the "Haunter of the Dark"/"The Shadow on the Steeple" story-line or in invocations), and possibly the Moon-beasts (glimpsed in the Dream Dimension), as well as possibly pastiching other elements, such as the Keepers of the Great Silver Gate, somewhat analogous to the Ancient Ones guarding the Ultimate Gate in "Through the Gates of the Silver Key"[4] (July, 1934) by H. P. Lovecraft and E. Hoffmann Price.
- Amazar seems to be inspired by the Dreamlands, a world of demons, warrior-women, and cyclopean architecture, accessible through a few gateways within Unity, a small town of New England where lied a massive collection of esoteric books.
- It is unclear what the Dreamlands are in Earth-616, though it is probably, like other similar locations, a dimension or a subset of one. It also unknown if the Dreamlands are supposed to be an independent realm, or if they are related to any way to the realms of the North American Natives, such the Realm of the Beasts and/or Quidlivun, realm of the Inua.
