History
Dunkirk is a commune in Nord, a French department in northern France. It is the northernmost city in France and the third-largest French harbor.
The Battle of Dunkirk was fought during the World War II, between the Allies and the Nazis. As the Allies were losing they was forced to evacuate across the English Channel back to Britain.[1]
