History

The Dweller was summoned from the sea by the Possessor who had taken over an unknown blind flute player at the time. Ulysses Bloodstone, seeing the Dweller attacking San Francisco, tried to battle it several times, but the sound from the flutist made it difficult to concentrate. Upon noticing the flutist, Bloodstone attacked him and successfully knocked him out. Free from the flutist's song, the Dweller returned to the sea.

The Dweller's large size gives it superhuman strength and durability. It's also amphibious, enabling it to live on both land and water.

Trivia

• On the cover of Marvel Present #1, it's shown with green skin, but inside the comic, it's skin is consistently orange.
