History

Beginning[]

During a fight between the Savage Avengers and a Deathlok, one of the cyborg's arm was cut down and left on the battlefield; later Alchemax took that and started experimenting on that. In year 2067, thanks to the arm's technology, they developed Formula-D, a chemical substance that was able to turn humans' dead bodies into Deathloks. Alchemax's chief, Tyler Stone immediately sent his cyborg soldiers against his main competitors; unable to create anything similar to the Deathloks, Stark-Fujikawa's employees reactivated some old technologies... including the evil robot Ultron, who took control over Deathloks and started his war against humanity.[1]

Empire of Machines[]

The corporate wars lasted long and in year 2089, Ultron's army and Lotusland corporation fought each other, with a colony of refugees between them two; Ultron dropped some Formula-D bombs on the colony and many refugees became Deathloks, including Jake Gallows's family, who he was forced to kill. In year 2091, Ultron defeated Latveria's monarch, Victor von Doom, but the country wouldn't be totally destroyed, that because Doom had previously triggered the Latverian defense grid made of Doombots, Sentinels and every kind of robot Ultron couldn't hack, that was the way the Iron Front born. Eventually, by the year 2099, Ultron (then known as Prime Deathlok) and his army turned 75% of humanity into Deathloks.

Coming of the Savage Avengers[]

Time-displaced Savage Avengers, ended up in that dark futre time because of the Deathlok's technology (he decided to help them after he rebelled against his program) and they're soon discovered by Ultron who sent his army against them in Nueva York, but with Punisher's help they defeated their mechanical enemies. A short time later, they stole Ultron's main digital archive by entering directly from Cyberspace and thanks to that files they started planning a raid on Hellrock prison, where Doctor Doom had been imprisoned. Besides the many obstacles they found there, Doom was eventually broken free and they flew away to the last part of their plan: getting the Time-Array Gauntlet in order to return their time avoiding that timeline. Once in Latveria, they're attacked by both Deathloks and Doombots, but they're able to go over them and reaching Tiger Wylde's fortress, where the Gauntlet had been hidden by Doom, however, Ultron had tracked von Doom's armor down and had stolen the precious Gauntlet as well. As the battle began, Doom was easily defeated and the Savage Avengers were all killed trying to stop Prime Deathlok, only the Punisher and the good Deathlok survived and escaped.[2]

The two survivors' only plan was to avoid Ultron using the Gauntlet to spread his Empire across the timelines so they tried to infiltrate Alchemax, but they're suddenly attacked by the Savage Avengers who had been all turned into monsterous machines who were going to easily kill them if Doom hadn't resurfaced. The iron monarch fought savagely against the former heroes, but they were too much for even Doctor Doom, so Deathlok sent his mind inside the Cyberspace where he found a part of the Avengers' memories blocked there, in particular, those were all the bad thoughts they had about themselves, but Deathlok was able to encourage them in not giving up, eventually placing their real mind over Ultron's one, causing them to return Alchemax labs, sabotating Formula-D technology to "recreate" them. Meanwhile, after the Punisher sacrifaced himself to destroy as much Deathloks was possible, the heroic Deathlok faced Ultron himself, who's going to open a portal over the moment Alchemax discovered the secrets of the cyborg's arm, but the Savage Avengers returned and joined the fight alongside Doom and Ultron's most dangerous prisoners: the Savage Avengers 2099. Ultron was then patially isolated into the Cyberspace by the Black Knight, but not before he sent his ultimate soldier against them: a "resurrected" Punisher who almost defeated Doom if Deathlok hadn't been able to remind him his past, causing Gallows to destroy the Gauntlet on purpose. However, the portal self-sustained and Deathlok tried to close that, but Ultron attacked him; in a last attempt to fix the timeline, Deathlok used his Web-Shooters to get his arm from the past and then destroyed that, erasing that timeline from existence.
