History
After Captain America finally killed Red Skull for good, the late fascist released the mist that mutated and spread across the globe, with a mere touch transforming Humans into Red Skulls resolved to kill or infect anyone different. Transformed M.O.D.O.K. telepathically linked them into one whole, dubbing it the New World Order. Only Captain America remained uninfected, and it was eventually discovered that his very blood contained the antidote. He then retired from the front lines of battle and spend the rest of days donating his blood so that Humanity could cure more and more infected, eventually retaking their planet back.[1]
