—Miles Morales[source]Are you from another dimension? Like, a parallel universe where things are like this universe, but different?
History
Earth-616B is the home reality of Peter B. Parker. He was bitten by a radioactive spider in his teens and, after the death of his beloved uncle Ben, became the sole protector of New York City known as Spider-Man. After a two-decade career as the city's hero, Peter's life turned out for the worse. His aunt May died, and Peter divorced his wife Mary Jane Watson, spiraling him into a depressive state.
Peter was plucked out of his reality following a Super Collider explosion in the parallel reality of Earth-1610B, whose Peter Parker lived a perfect life until his untimely death at the hands of the Kingpin. Peter B. encountered Miles Morales, a young boy who had been similarly bitten by a radioactive spider, and went on to become his mentor in an adventure that resulted in Miles and Peter B. teaming up with other displaced spider-people to stop the Kingpin from rebuilding the Super Collider. Inspired by Miles, Peter made amends with Mary Jane once he returned to his home reality, and fathered a daughter named May.[1][3]Residents

Trivia

Designation of Earth-616B revealed on Hobie's jerry-rigged Dimensional Travel Watch
- This reality is designated "E-616" in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and "Earth-616" in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse - The Art of the Movie and in the Official Film Screenplay.[2] However, in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Hobie Brown's jerry-rigged Dimensional Travel Watch designated the home reality of Peter B. Parker as "Earth-616B", and the official language-specific subtitles on the Blu-ray of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse in all countries refer to Peter B. Parker's home reality as E-616B or Earth-616B.
- Later, Christopher Miller confirmed that Peter B. Parker's home reality is officially designated as "616B" which he added "is a slight retcon".[4]
- A deleted version of Peter B. Parker's flashback sequence in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse includes appearances from the Hulk, Venom and Rhino.
