Recruitment of Summers by Colonel Fury and Doctor Xavier
During the American Civil War, the Union Army officials Colonel Fury and Doctor Xavier recruited three African-Americans to enforce their ranks: the armored-soldier James Rhodes, and the mutants Ororo Munroe and Scott Summers to which they explained their special gifts, and trained them into an elite combat team.
The three black super-soldiers strikes surprised the over-confident Confederates leaders, defeating their army and killing thousands of them, ending the American Civil War ended in merely two weeks.

Despite their efforts and victory, Scott and his fellow mutants were feared by their compatriots, because of their battle facts. When Summers realized this feelings of his fellow soldiers for his kind, he realized the violence of his acts.[1]
At some point, the Corporal Scott Summers joined the second multiversal team of an alternate Charles Xavier, X-Force along Captain Blaire and Hercules[2]Residents
