This reality was seemingly similar to Earth-616 up until the Badoon invaded Earth. Mutantkind and humanity united to repel the invaders, many heroes were lost, including Professor X and Nick Fury. However, the tide turned when a team was sent in a recon mission in the Badoon Throneworld, they were immediately attacked by the Badoon, but Wolverine, Cyclops and many others distracted the Badoon, allowing the rest of the team to come back to Earth and win the war. Mutantkind was united under the guidance of Jean Grey and Magneto.[1]
The Earth destroyed by the Phoenix Force
This peace would not last however, as the Onslaught of Earth-696 decided to invade this Earth in his quest for cosmic ascendance and in order to gain more power to confront the Phoenix who thwarted him. A team of Wolverines assembled by the Phoenix came to this Earth to see whether Onslaught was truly hiding there, they were confronted by the Uncanny Avengers but eventually convinced them they were not a threat. When it seemed that Onslaught was not there however, Jane Howlett noticed that people behaved too weirdly, forcing Onslaught, who was hiding in the minds of multiple people rather than one, to reveal himself. However by that point, Onslaught took over the minds of all of humanity save for 1 billion people, the Wolverines distracted the Onslaught-infected heroes while the uninfected heroes evacuated the uninfected to an alternate reality, and soon after, the Phoenix of Earth-80777 destroyed Earth with the Phoenix Force in order to destroy the Onslaught and Hunger-infected beings, the latter virus which had been brought here by Zombie Wolverine.[1]
