History
Earth succumbed to the Carrion Virus, which originated in San Francisco. This was one of the realities visited by Kaine to learn more about the virus along with Spider-Woman, the Gwen Stacy of Earth-65. "Peter Parker" and Miles Warren had begun to work together in search for a cure, but they were killed by infected. Kaine managed to find a research note from that world's Peter before his death and intended to go back to Loomworld when he was suddenly confronted by an alternate version of himself who had been infected by the Carrion virus. After a brief fight, his counterpart died from the virus, allowing Kaine to examine his body.[1]
