History

In this reality, Captain America disappeared during World War II and was presumed dead. He was recovered by Alchemax and eventually unfrozen in 2099 by the Black Widow who remained active thanks to experimental life-extending treatment. Frank Castle received the same treatment and continued his private war on crime throughout the 21st century.^[1]

This reality's Doom clashed with his past counterpart from another reality which broke the time itself and created a multiversal crisis. Countless universes collided in the Timestream Entanglement, and many were displaced from their native world. Captain America was sent into the past, while the sentient island of Krakoa was pulled into 2099 - along with thousands of Mutants living on it.^[1]

Above Tokyo, a temporal rift was created by the Timestream Entanglement. The Master Weaver planned to use its energy to strengthen the Web of Life and Destiny from an an island he suspended above Tokyo, one of the "Spider-Islands". His disciple, Spider-Zero had concerns about her master's actions and was leading the effort to stitch the rift closed for good. The Master Weaver did not handle disobedience well, so he banished Spider-Zero from the Spider-Islands. Still, Spider-Zero was ready to do whatever necessary to save the day and earn back her rightful spot on the Web.^[1]
