Synopsis for "Something Wicked This Way Comes"
Earth-1740, 18th Century America, a man in shadows purses two Redcoats with great agility, but Fanciful Dan of the King's Enforcers refuses capitulation. While the man would've been satisfied had they taken a pig or feed, the goat they took had three bairns to give milk to and that makes them villains to the man and he defeats Dan's cohort, Raymond Bloch. When Fanciful Dan takes a shot, he is shocked he missed given the close range and the man returns fire with a web shot capturing him in a snare-- revealing himself as Spider-Laird. With the incident resolved, Spider-Laird finds the goat missing and comes upon three hooded women in spider web clad robes, knowing his true name of Donald MacGargan of Clan MacGargan. Demanding their identities, they explain themselves as fellow Spiders coming to forewarn him with magical presentation of an impending war that will test all spiders in the Spider-Verse. When asking about the war, they fade away and warn him not to get stung as something wicked comes. Finding the goat, Donald asks if it too saw the three women asking if he wasn't touched in the head, but concludes he likely is mad since he's talking to a goat.

Synopsis for "The Hero Within"
On Earth-616 today, Anya Corazón web swings over Manhattan reflecting on feeling settled for once as a superhero since she was Fifteen years old, now struggling as a journalism student at Empire State University with her super hero responsibilities, and recalling her roommate Dani believes she's out partying. Coming upon a shoplifting, Spider-Girl suddenly feels an intense pain before crashing into the pavement, then finds her old Spider-Totem tattoo restored on her shoulder. Swinging back in strained daze to her dorm to sleep, Anya is startled awake by a vision of Madame Web warning her of a familiar evil returning. Finding herself covered in webs before Dani returns, Anya is panicked to learn she overslept on her first day of classes, then learns from Dani that classes are likely canceled due to a "rat-man" invasion.
So Spider-Girl swings over despite overtaking fatigue against a pack of Vermin equipped with weaponry. Heading to the main Vermin, Spider-Girl finally passes out from the pain after seeing the main Vermin flee under someone's command. Awakening later in the evening, Madame Web states to Anya that she is at a crossroads and hopes to send her down the right path, and that the pain she is feeling is her powers once more in transition back to their original totemic design as Araña. Such transition doesn't go unnoticed, as the Sisterhood of the Wasp has returned lead by a new hunter, Delilah, awakened by Shathra's return and aiming to expand their ranks. Recalling the weapons the Vermin had, Anya realizes the Sisterhood are using Vermin to make wasp monsters from his victims.
Unsure of her next move, Anya asks Madame Web what to do and the clairvoyant assures her there's a plan and directs her to someone for a new costume. After Web-Weaver gave Anya a new look inspired by her original, she also resumes her Araña moniker and learned that as Delilah is new, she'll be building her wasp following however she can en masse. Recalling a concert Dani said they'd be going to, Araña intercepts Delilah on stage but gets knocked down from another bout of pain. As Delilah gloats, Araña recovers a moment later with renewed power to effortlessly overpower Delilah before the cheering crowd. With a surprise explosion, Madame Web tells Araña that a new battle is beginning and she is needed, so Araña gladly follows.

Synopsis for "Spider-Rex!!!"
Earth-66 long, long, long ago, Spider-Rex (Pter Ptarker) is attacked by Norrannosaurman. A little long, long, longer ago, Pter and his pack chase Norrannosaurman to eat when a meteor infected with Spiders impacts Pter as he munches on Norrannosaurman. Less long ago, Pter's Uncle Bten and Aunpt May awaken him for food only for him to discover his transformation, as Norrannosaurman also changed from the encounter elsewhere. Back to the long, long, long time ago... Norrannosaurman attacks Pter for "infecting" him with weakling blood, and Pter fights back after trying to explain events as he saw. Pter then webs Norrannosaurman's pack to trees before swinging away telling Norrannosaurman that he isn't a weakling anymore for him to push around. Norrannosaurman pursues the pride-swelling "Spider-Rex," but the branch holding his webbing breaks and Pter lands on Norrannosaurman and crushing innocent dinosaurs beneath them. As Pter swears never to be reckless again, Araña oversaw events and questions what just happened.

Synopsis for "My Dame... My Destiny"
Late 1930s on Earth-90214. Peter B. Parker stumbles into his office and gets a whiskey bottle to ease the pain from a hole in his side and writes a note addressed to Mary Jane. Writing that he wanted to tell her for so long, with a dialogue on his superhuman perspective, and how he made many mistakes but wants to write what led him into his current troubles. With no client available, Spider-Man went out to find one and came upon thugs harassing an amnesiac woman, who bit off the ear of one man as Spider-Man webbed up another guy. Taking her to his Aunt May Parker for shelter, Peter juggled his dual identity for a while helping her job her memory, and named her "Sharon" after Sharon Lynn on the radio, and her singing voice was strangely captivating. Peter admits he began to fall for Sharon even though he loved Mary Jane, her optimism and joy keeping him afloat, and not wanting to hurt her by revealing his true identity. Yet Sharon deduced his secret identity and they slept together when she somehow entranced him.
When Sharon recalled she had a daughter, May warned Peter something was off with her but he dismissed it, going to say goodnight to her before Mary Jane stopped by and chanced upon him and Sharon kissing. Recalling the pain of Mary Jane's leaving him as he begged her forgiveness, as he went to Mary Jane's leaving a note on her mirror in apology, he encountered Sharon who serendipitously remembered where to find her daughter. Although suspicious that her daughter would be in a derelict hotel, he continued on despite the intense fear overtaking him and led into a room by Sharon, where he found her "daughter" really a giant wasp and Sharon was really Shathra. Waking up later, he was pierced by something as his mind went mad to a destination he wished not to reach, and he made his way to his office to write the letter. But as Mary Jane comes to his office after finding his note asking for him, Peter crumbles the note and his eyes paste over from Shathra's wasp venom taking over, and his voice gurgled saying he was not afraid anymore.
