Synopsis for "The Hunting: Part 2"
On Earth-11964, Kraven the Hunter savors the anticipation of the hunt, leading the Sinister Six towards the abandoned mansion on Governors Island. As the Lizard declares his intent to devour Spider-Man, Kraven snaps that the killing blow is his. The Rhino interrupts, angrily saying they all want a piece of Spider-Man. Telling the others to stop bickering, Doctor Octopus assures them that there will be more than enough Spider-Man to go around. Thinking to himself that he prefers to hunt alone, Kraven compares the other members of the Sinister Six to decoys and stalking horses. Noting the tracks tell of a vicious battle where Spider-Man fought with a heretofore unknown cruelty, Kraven relishes the thought of fighting such a foe and leads the others towards the manor, where Spider-Man and the Green Goblin had their final battle.
Approving of Doctor Octopus sending the Vulture to do aerial reconnaissance, Kraven is annoyed by Electro saying he can't hear any wildlife on the island, dismissing his concerns. The Vulture returns, reporting that he saw no signs of life, and Doctor Octopus splits the party to surround the mansion and cut off any avenues of escape. Kraven is paired with Electro, who mutters that Doctor Octopus can be excessively dramatic, Kraven sneering that he couldn't care less about any of them. Entering the mansion, Kraven realizes this is where the final battle went down. Illuminating a passage with a bolt of electricity, Electro is shocked to see an empty suit of Goblin Armor suspended from webbing, noting that Spider-Man seems to have won before wondering where Osborn's body is. Spotting a nearby skull gnawed clean of flesh and with the top bitten off, Kraven realizes what happened to the Green Goblin and pulls out his hunting knives as a towering shadow looms from behind them. A pair of white eyespots glare at them as the white spider emblem of Spider-Man's black suit emerges from the darkness, and as a fanged maw opens in a ravenous roar Kraven realizes the monster before them is much more -- and much worse --than Spider-Man ever was.
