History
Edna Crosley was Steven Rogers' civics teacher who taught in a Lower East Side school back in the 1930s. Rogers regarded her as a tough teacher, but a fair one. She helped in instilling patriotic values in him, stating that as citizens of the United States of America, they were afforded more rights than in any other country, but they also had a duty to protect their nation and ensuring that justice is spread everywhere.[1]
