Venom[source]

Venom is one of the many Champions at the Summoners' disposal in the Contest of Champions held in the Battlerealm.[1]

History

After Peter Parker rejected a sinister alien symbiote, the extra-terrestrial threat sought revenge by bonding with Eddie Brock, ex-photographer for the Daily Bugle and Peter’s longtime rival. Fueled by their shared hatred of Spider-Man, Brock and the symbiote now use their immense strength and deadly abilities to gain revenge as the fearful Venom.

Contest of Champions[]

At some point after being captured, Venom somehow escaped from the Collector's Vault and took over a locked area of Battlerealm which was used by the Collector to store the dead heroes and villains of many different universes he had resurrected using the ISO-Sphere.[1]

Blood and Venom[]

Venom was tracked down and defeated by the Summoner and Guillotine, who were tasked with the mission of clearing the area so the Collector could use it again in the future. Venom was then imprisoned within an ISO-8 Crystal and sent back to the Collector's Vault, where he would be accessed by the many participants of the Contest of Champions.[1]

Arachnid Action[]

Venom was pitted against the newcomer Miles Morales by the Collector as a "trial by fire".[1]

Sinister Foes of Spider-Man[]

Venom was one of the six villains the Grandmaster assembled to hunt down a younger version of Spider-Man due to his particular distaste for him. After failing to punish said Spider-Man for his older counterpart's "crimes", Venom regrouped with his teammates to corner him and get their revenge; however, a group of other Spider-People of Battlerealm showed up to help him, thwarting the plans of the Sinister Six in the process.[1]
