History
The life story of this Eddie Brock mirrored that of his Earth-TRN1430 counterpart up until the night the docks of New York City were attacked. When he arrived there, Eddie witnessed as Jack O'Lantern (the perpetrator of the attack) tried to kill Spider-Man (actually a future version of Eddie called the Illuminated puppeteering Spider-Man's unconscious body through the Black Suit) and two security guards who worked there. Jack ultimately quit his job for the Maggia after "Spider-Man" injured his leg and menaced to end his life. On his way out of the docks, Jack bumped into Eddie, who claimed Jack owed him a story. Consequently, Jack ended their deal and promptly left. In the end, Eddie did not get his story and blamed Spider-Man for the end of his deal with Jack.[1]
