History
Eddie Brock Sr. was an excellent bio-engineer who teamed up with Richard Parker to develop a revolutionary means to heal humanity of disease and illness. Their basis was to create a symbiote, The Suit; the project was named Project Venom.[1] However, Eddie and Richard soon ran into issues in their development of the suit and the two sought the partnership and resources of Trask Industries to help complete their project. When Eddie and Richard signed with Trask, the company eventually took the project away from them - seeing it as a potential bioweapon and tool to create supersoldiers. Eddie and Richard decided to create their own version of the Suit to prove their ownership, but while on a flight to New York to fight this battle in court the plane crashed, killing Brock and his wife along with the Parker's. Their sons would go on to believe their plane was sabotaged by Trask.[2]
