History
Eddie Fallon was a crime boss who hired Jack Murdock to threaten people who still owed Fallon money. However, Murdock quit being Fallon's muscle in order to prove to his now-blind son Matt that he wasn't a failure, and go back into boxing. Fallon complied, and secretly set Jack's matches up against fighters loyal to Fallon, who would throw the fight when asked. In the championship match between Murdock and John Romita, Fallon requested that Jack throw the fight. But Murdock disobeyed for his son's sake, and won the fight instead. Fallon then ordered his men, one of whom was a young Wilson Fisk, to kill Jack Murdock.[1]
