History
Like his Earth-199999 counterpart, Ego hired Yondu to bring his son to him. Yondu sent his subordinates to bring Peter Quill, but they mistakenly brought T'Challa instead because they were attracted to the strong cosmic readings of the Wakandan vibranium meteorite. Yondu took T'Challa away from the mission he was given by Ego. Ego decided to search for his son on his own and found him still on Earth.[1] He attempted to begin his expansion but was stopped by Star-Lord, who bombed him and rescued Peter.[2]
