History
Ekl'r, "The Demon Without Humor" was a demon from the depths of an unidentified dimension whose denizens feed off despair and hopelessness. He traveled to Earth to conquer the dimension by first destroying all comedy clubs and comedians and removing all humor. He traveled to a comedy club patronized by Griffin Gogol. During Griffin's set, he heckled Griffin and revealed his true identity and confronted Carla Denti. Griffin transformed into Captain Ultra and attacked Ekl'r, knocking away from Carla and the two fought. Ekl'r appeared to have the upper hand until Captain Ultra told a joke about demons which amused Ekl'r, causing him to explode.[1]
