Synopsis for "Hubris, Chapter 1"
At the Sea of Crete, Interpol agent Chris Olson told Ione Katamides about Elektra. In Miltini, Turkey, Olson reported to Jean Valence about his meeting with Katamides and passing on the information about Elektra. In Los Angeles, Elektra placed an ad for an English Bulldog in a newspaper, which Katamides saw before going to Athens and phoning Elektra about it, as Interpol eavesdropped, learning that the assassin wanted two million up front. Afterwards, Valence tasked Chris with returning to Athens and notifying him when Elektra arrived. Chris could not follow Elektra to Katamides' island, as there was a board blocking the front door of the house where he hid. On her island, Katamides tasked Elektra with bringing her the four men who raped her ten years earlier.
