Elia Arriguez worked for CyberOptics as part of a complicated exchange involving the DEA, her father, and her criminal uncle. Uncle Umberto arranged for Elia to be killed when she talked too much about the deal. The crime-fighter Nomad saved her life, but Elia was still shot in the spine and was left crippled.[1]
