Twin sisters Flesh and Bones were anorexic models. Their disgust toward their overweight sister Bonnie Bliss led them to not help her when she fell over and had a heart attack. Feeling guilty, they wanted to stay thin forever and took upon themselves a curse that transformed them into Flesh and Bones. They first tangled with Spider-Woman.
